Healthy Organic Coconut Oil Popcorn

I love popcorn, but I always felt so guilty loading butter on my popcorn. Here is a healthy alternative to making popcorn with coconut oil instead of butter!


Ingredients:

  • 4 Tablespoons Organic Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 cup Popcorn Kernels
  • Salt

1. Heat 2 tablespoons of coconut oil in a large pot
2. When the oil is hot, poor the corn in the pot and cover
3. Once you hear the corn start to pop, shake over the burner until the corn stops popping
4. Take the pot off the burner and let sit for a few seconds until all the kernels are popped, watch for steam when you take the cover off the pot it will be very hot! 
5. In a cup or bowl heat 2 tablespoons of coconut oil in the microwave for one minute until smooth
6. Toss oil and salt all over the popcorn
7. Enjoy!
